Description

Responsibilities:
1. Organize the Laundry Activity

  • Recording of loads washed each day on the log book
  • Counting all the soiled linen before sending to the laundry
  • Collecting the linen after washing from the vendor by morning and afternoon shift staff

2. Cleaning the Front Desk/Lobby Area

  • Cleaning the front desk like carpet, ceiling, glass door, glass window & furniture
  • Check the entire dustbin and remove the garbage and clean them if required
  • Cleaning the stairway handrails

3. Cleaning the Guest Room

  • Cleaning and using vacuum on the carpet
  • Remove the dirty mugs and send to stewarding for washing
  • Empty the trashcan and replace the plastic bag
  • Replace the used/dirty towels
  • Clear the dustbin if used
  • Replace the used bath towels, face towels and bath mats
  • Clean all glass surfaces and windows

4. Staff Attendance

  •  Staff is allocated in different areas according to duty roaster

5. Carpet & Furniture Upholstery

  • Removing the stains on the sofa by doing shampooing
  • Vacuum under the desks & other areas
  • Cleaning /shampooing the carpet in the hallway of the Hotel rooms
  • Cleaning the sofas inside the snoozing lounge & mopping the floor

6. Preparation for the Bed Making

  • Remove soiled bed linen from the bed & replace with the clean linen
  • Checking the mattress protector for any stains as need to be sent for laundry if applicable
  • Replacing used pillow cover

7. To undertake other jobs assigned by superior from time to time


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in hotel/housekeeping management in 5 stars Hotel
  • Fluent in English, other languages will be an advantage
  • Accountability and able to work independently
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Immediate available is preferred
